I had a fantastic art teacher at school and nearly went to Art College but instead pursued a career in the NHS for 20 years.
I have always loved to paint and draw. As a doctor, I attended life drawing and art classes whenever I could - sketching and doodling kept me happy.
In 2015, following a year of cancer treatment, I decided to be a full-time mum and painting became a real passion.
We live on a small holding in the beautiful Shropshire hills with two teenagers and a menagerie of animals. The aim is to paint or draw every day but time is always short, although sometimes being short of time can encourage brave, enthusiastic brushstrokes!
I still attend life drawing classes and paint with a group of friends each week.
I love trying to capture some light and energy in my paintings. I hope that you enjoy looking at my work and feel tempted to buy something from the shop and follow me on Instagram.
I donate 10% of my profits made from sales via this website to Cancer Research and Médecins Sans Frontières.
